Main Responsibilities:

The incumbent is responsible for adequately fulfilling all the functions and responsibilities assigned to them. They will have to work in a team with other members of the production department and to collaborate closely with the production manager.

Tasks:

• Do final assembly of products in the factory.
• Set up final tests and burn-in on manufactured products in accordance with established quality standards.
• Help resolve problems encountered during assembly and testing.
• Prepare reception and shipment of goods.
• Participate in inventory verification activities.
• Calibrate test equipment.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the department.
• Participate in production planning meetings.
• Perform any other production-related task.
• Collaborate in, and help improve the production processes of the company.
• Bring added value to the team through self-improvement and training.

Job requirements:

The candidate for this position:

• Is well organized, rigorous and methodical.
• Has excellent teamwork skills, while being able to work independently when required.
• Shows initiative and resourcefulness within the scope of their tasks.
• Has a strong interest in technology with an ability to learn and understand new concepts.
• Has a good capacity for remaining concentrated while performing a task.
• Holds a College diploma (DEC, or equivalent) in electronics, physics or a relevant field. A high school diploma (DES) combined with relevant experience will also be taken into consideration.
• Has good manual skills, versatility and adaptability.
• Has good oral and written French, or willingness to learn French.
